Ajimisinmi Oluwole

Board Chairman

An Executive Director in a prestigious bank in Nigeria. He is a respected professional banker with vast experience in business law, credit risk management, asset and liability management, business development and commercial banking.

Oluwole received a B. Law from Nigerian Law School, a General Management Program from Harvard Business School. He is an Associate Member, Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrator of Nigeria and UK (ACIS)

Esmilda Dombo

Deputy Chairperson

A Development Finance specialist who has been providing business development support to small businesses in Mozambique. for over 10 years.

Esmilda has helped more than 75 SMEs in providing access to finance training in Mozambique. She received a BSc. Accounting and Auditing from Escola Superior de Economia e Gestão, Moozambique.

Stieneke Jensma

A specialist in Development Finance with over 20 years experience in the private and public sectors and not-for-profit companies. She sits on several boards in the USA and South Africa, three of which she chairs; she is currently an executive manager at the Department of Trade Industry and Competition.

Stieneke holds an MBA from the University of Pretoria and is a recipient of a Golden Key Award. In addition, she holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from UNISWA, a project management qualification and qualified to be a Certified Associate of the Institute of Bankers in South Africa. She was trained in development finance in the UK and in East Africa.

Arlete Patel Alves

A professional banker and economist with over 40 years experience in financial services. She is currently the Chairman of the Board Credit Committee and member of the Board Audit Committee of Standard Bank Mozambique. She has served as Managing Director of the Technical Unit of the National Forum for the African Pair Review Mechanism, Mozambique and National Economist, UNDP.

Arlete holds MSC in National Development & Project Planning, from Bradford University, UK. A BSc Economics from Eduardo Mondlane University, Mozambique.
